University of Mississippi Medical Center selects new CEO for 2 campuses: 4 notes

Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center appointed Wes Sigler CEO of UMMC Grenada and UMMC Holmes County in Lexington, effective May 14.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Sigler most recently served as administrator of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Eupora hospital.

2. His prior roles include administrator for the Quitman County Hospital in Marks, Miss., and CEO of Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, Miss.

3. He earned his master of professional accountancy degree from Mississippi State University in Starkville.

4. Mr. Sigler takes over from William Buck, who became interim CEO following Don Hutson’s resignation in February.
