Phillip Kaufman has been named associate CFO of University of Miami Health System and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, according to an Oct. 2 post on his LinkedIn page.
Mr. Kaufman joins University of Miami Health System after serving as system vice president of finance and shared services at UChicago Medicine since October 2018.
“As I begin this new chapter, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my colleagues and leaders at UChicago Medicine for the last eight incredibly meaningful years of service and a rewarding chapter in my career,” he said in the post. “I’m grateful for the opportunities, mentorship, collaboration, and friendships that shaped my professional journey and contributed to my growth as a leader.”
Before joining UChicago Medicine, he served as associate vice president and corporate controller at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center.
