University of Maryland Medical Center names new CFO: 3 notes

Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical Center selected Joseph E. Hoffman III to serve as senior vice president and CFO, according to The Daily Record.

1. Mr. Hoffman most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health in Bel Air.

2. He previously served as CFO of the Alfred I. DuPont Institute of the Nemours Foundation in Wilmington, Del.

3. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
