University of Louisville Health names CEO: 3 things to know

University of Louisville (Ky.) Health selected Tom Miller to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 7, according to an Insider Louisville report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Miller most recently served as CEO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health, a 28-hospital system.

2. He has 30-plus years of healthcare experience.

3. Ken Marshall, who served as president of UofL Hospital during the health system’s departure from the Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health family in 2017, will remain with the organization as COO.
