University Hospitals names M. Steven Jones president of its east region: 4 things to know

Cleveland-based University Hospitals appointed M. Steven Jones president of UH Community Hospitals-East Region.

1. The UH Community Hospitals-East Region is comprised of:

•    UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio
•    UH Bedford (Ohio) Medical Center,
•    UH Conneaut (Ohio) Medical Center,
•    UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio
•    UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio
•    UH Richmond Medical Center in Cleveland
•    UH Geneva (Ohio) Medical Center

2. Previously, Mr. Jones served as president for UH Geauga, Conneaut, Geneva and Portage medical centers.

3. He joined University Hospitals in 2006 as vice president and COO of UH Geauga Medical Center.

4. In his new role, Mr. Jones will work closely with east region leadership at all of its locations to continue full integration within the UH system.
