University Hospital COO to lead Main Line Health hospital

Anna Michelle Brandt was appointed president of Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pa., part of Radnor Township, Pa.-based Main Line Health.

Ms. Brandt joined Main Line Health March 1 from University Hospital, a 519-bed academic medical center in Newark, N.J., where she served as COO, according to a March 2 health system news release. At University Hospital, she oversaw clinical and support operations across inpatient, ambulatory and pre-hospital services.

Before that, Ms. Brandt spent nearly two decades at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., advancing through progressively senior leadership roles, including vice president and hospital chief of staff.
