University Hospital & Clinics names Katie Herbert COO

Lafayette, La.-based University Hospital & Clinics, part of Lafayette (La.) General Health, has named Katie Herbert COO, effective March 23, according to The Advertiser.

Prior to Ms. Herbert’s appointment, the COO position at University Hospital & Clinics had been vacant since November 2014.

Ms. Herbert first joined Lafayette General Health in 2007 as administrator of Lafayette General Surgical Hospital. Since 2010, she has served as CEO of St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, La.
