University Health taps Daniel Snyder to lead as CEO: 4 things to know

Shreveport, La.-based University Health named Daniel J. Snyder CEO, according to The Times.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Snyder previously served as CEO of University of Miami Hospital.

2. He has also served as director of medical strategy, planning, programming and budgeting for the Office of Chief of Naval Operations at The Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

3. He succeeds Richard Cascio, who has led the two-hospital health system as interim CEO.

4. Mr. Snyder will assume the new position on Feb. 6, 2017.
