University General Health System names Kris Trent CFO

Houston-based University General Health System has promoted Kris Trent, CPA, to CFO.

Ms. Trent joined UGHS in May 2013 as chief accounting officer. She was later promoted to interim CFO and now to permanent CFO.

Prior to joining UGHS, Ms. Trent was a partner with one of America’s “big four” audit, tax and advisory services firms, where she served from 1997 until May 2013. She served as the audit engagement partner on several publicly-traded multinational corporations and as the lead audit partner for several private companies with domestic and international operations.

Prior to her work with the auditing and advisory firm, Ms. Trent was a finance associate with DDB Needham, one of the largest advertising firms in the world.
