Dr. Williams most recently served as chief clinical officer of UnityPoint Health in West Des Moines, Iowa, according to a Jan. 11 news release. He was also previously the president and CEO of UnityPoint Clinic and UnityPoint at Home.
In his new role, Dr. Williams will oversee a team of more than 1,610 physicians and advanced practice providers. He will succeed Michael Randle, MD, who is slated to retire in February.
