UnityPoint Health-Pekin president to retire

Bob Haley, president of UnityPoint Health-Pekin (Ill.), plans to retire, effective Jan. 1, 2018, according to an East Peoria Times-Courier report.

Mr. Haley assumed his current role four years ago, prior to which he served in leadership roles at various healthcare facilities.

During his tenure, Mr. Haley helped recruit new physicians, oversaw the construction of a new medical office building and spearheaded Progressive Health Systems’ affiliation with UnityPoint Health. Progressive Health Systems is the parent company of Pekin Hospital.

UnityPoint Health-Pekin will announce a transition plan soon.
