United Hospital Center VP of human resources retires: 3 things to know

Tim Allen, vice president of human resources at Bridgeport, W.Va.-based United Hospital Center, has retired after 43 years at the hospital, according to The Exponent Telegram.

Three things to know:

1. Mr. Allen became VP of human resources in 1993, prior to which he was the hospital’s human resources manager.

2. He became the hospital’s first employment coordinator in 1989.

3. According to Mr. Allen, one of the HR department’s achievements during his tenure was providing employees with a competitive benefits and compensation program.
