Umpqua Community Health Center names Karl Bolton CEO: 3 notes

Umpqua Community Health Center, a private nonprofit facility, in Roseburg, Ore., appointed Karl Bolton CEO, according to a report by The News-Review.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Bolton most recently served as director of the specialty service line for Bend (Ore.) Memorial Clinic.

2. He is also a retired Army colonel and has previously served as chief of staff of the West Region Medical Command in Tacoma, Wash.

3. He replaces interim CEO Dona Weissenfels, who will go back to her previous role of health center COO.
