UMMS taps 1st vice president of philanthropy shared services

Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System has tapped Christine Andrews as its first vice president for philanthropy shared services.

In her newly created role, Ms. Andrews will help the system streamline its transformational giving approach to ensure donors can aid large projects that help improve healthcare throughout the state while also moving the health system’s mission forward. 

Ms. Andrews will work with chief development officers across member organizations at UMMS to develop a collaborative model that supports the health system’s strategic priorities and philanthropic operations, according to an April 24 news release. 

Prior to her new role, Ms. Andrews served as assistant vice president of advancement administration of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth Health and Hanover, N.H.-based Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, according to her LinkedIn page.
