UHS Kentucky behavioral hospital names CEO

Melisa Adkins, BSN, RN, has been appointed CEO of The Brook Hospital KMI in Louisville, Ky., part of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.

In her new role, Ms. Adkins will advance patient-centered care, expand access and strengthen outcomes, she wrote in a July 13 LinkedIn post.

She previously served as CEO of UofL Health Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville from January 2020 to October 2025, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The Brook Hospital KMI is a 110-bed behavioral hospital.
