UHS Florida hospital taps COO ahead of opening

Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has named MaryJo McPhail as COO. 

Ms. McPhail brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, including oversight of large-scale hospital operations and capital projects, according to a Dec. 9 LinkedIn post from the hospital.

She most recently served as vice president of operations at HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Fla., according to her LinkedIn profile.

Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a 156-bed acute care hospital, is expected to open in 2026. It is part of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
