UH St. John Medical Center taps chief nursing officer

University Hospitals has named Shelly Loop, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer of UH St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio, the health system said Nov. 9.

Ms. Loop has worked at UH St. John Medical Center for 22 years in various staff and management roles, including as a clinical nurse manager, patient care facilitator and charge nurse. In 2019, she was named manager of nursing operations for the hospital. 

Ms. Loop will step into her role Nov. 17, according to a news release.
