Cleveland-based University Hospitals has named Kristie Ross, MD, as chief medical officer of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and the children’s market, effective Jan. 16.
Dr. Ross has served as interim CMO since June 2025. She previously was interim vice chair for UH Rainbow clinical operations and chief of pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine.
UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s is part of a pediatric care network with 60 locations, approximately 590,000 annual patient visits and more than 280 physicians. Dr. Ross has worked at the hospital for more than 20 years.
