UF Health taps Novant leader as new CFO

Gainesville, Fla.-based UF Health has named Geoffrey Gardner executive vice president and system CFO of the UF Health clinical enterprise, effective Dec. 1.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Gardner served as interim CFO at Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health. He also served as senior vice president of finance and revenue cycle for Novant Health, according to an Oct. 14 news release. 

In his new role, Mr. Gardner will provide system leadership and support operational opportunities to influence strategic growth. 

“Gardner will lead efforts to formulate and implement new revenue streams and maximize reimbursement, along with leading business planning and funding strategies for all major capital projects and general funds flow across the enterprise,” the release said.
