UF Health Shands CEO Timothy Goldfarb Accepts New UF Health Position

Timothy Goldfarb, CEO of Gainesville-based University of Florida Health Shands, will step down from his position to become UF Health executive vice president for regional and governmental affairs, effective July 1.

Mr. Goldfarb has led the health system since 2001.

Ed Jimenez, senior vice president and COO of UF Health Shands Hospital, will become interim CEO of the health system.
