UF Health names new marketing chief

Gainesville-based University of Florida Health has a new marketing leader.

Dan Dillon Jr. was named vice president for marketing and senior advisor at University of Florida, where he will oversee marketing for the enterprise. He starts March 4.

“I am very excited to join this great university’s leadership team and look forward to contributing to UF however I can,” Mr. Dillon said in a Jan. 10 news release.

He will lead the “One UF” overhaul that will integrate marketing across the university’s colleges, institutes and health system. He previously led marketing efforts for Tempe-based Arizona State University and has been a marketing executive for Outback Steakhouse, Coca-Cola and Kraft Heinz.
