Ms. Curell has served as executive vice president and chief integration and transformation officer at UChicago Medicine since March 2021.
Her new role builds on her work as chief integration and transformation officer, and her more recent additional responsibilities as chief administration officer, Tom Jackiewicz, health system president, wrote in the all-staff message.
“Working collaboratively with the leaders at the various sites, Krista will guide day-to-day operations across the UChicago Medicine health system and focus on optimizing and fully integrating operations at the care sites, including Ingalls Memorial Hospital,” Mr. Jackiewicz said. “Our vision is to have a seamless patient and employee experience across our entire healthcare system.”
