UCHealth appoints 2 hospital CNOs: 6 notes

Denver-based UCHealth selected Kay Miller to serve as chief nursing officer of UCHealth Greeley (Colo.) Hospital and Julie Nunley as CNO of UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo.

Here are six notes:

1. Ms. Miller has served as CNO of UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., since 2015.

2. She helped open UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo., and served as the hospital’s CNO until 2012.

3. Ms. Miller will succeed Julie Nunley as CNO of UCHealth Greeley, which is set to open in spring 2019.

4. Ms. Nunley joined UCHealth last year, and since then, she has helped oversee the planning of operations, education, policies and hiring for the Greeley hospital.

5. She was previously CEO of Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.

6. Ms. Nunley replaces Donna Poduska, who will retire in February 2019.
