UAMS Health taps chief administrative officer

Little Rock, Ark.-based UAMS Health has named Harrison Reed chief administrative officer and associate vice chancellor for clinical finance and strategy.

Mr. Reed joined the health system in May 2021 as associate vice chancellor for clinical strategy, according to a July 17 news release. In his new role, he will be responsible for UAMS Health’s daily financial operations, provide decision-making support, manage enterprise productivity and financial analysis and oversee a data analytics group. 

He succeeds Jason Rounds, who left the role to serve as president and CEO of Farmington, N.M.-based San Juan Regional Medical Center.
