Robin Luxon, BSN, RN, was appointed president of the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Md., part of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.
Ms. Luxon has served as interim president for the past eight months, according to a June 5 health system news release.
Before assuming the interim role, she served as senior vice president of strategy and clinical integration at the medical center. She joined UM St. Joseph in 2020 after more than two decades with UM Upper Chesapeake Health, another University of Maryland Medical System member organization.
UM St. Joseph Medical Center is a 221-bed Catholic, nonprofit regional medical center.
