TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center taps COO: 3 notes

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tenn., named Joe Gleason COO, according to a Rutherford Source report.

Three notes:

1. Most recently, Mr. Gleason served as associate administrator and vice president of business development at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Ga.

2. He has 18-plus years of experience at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. Both TriStar StoneCrest and Redmond Regional are HCA facilities.

3. He holds a master of physical therapy degree from the University of Scranton (Pa.) and master of health administration degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
