TriStar Centennial names COO for Women’s and Children’s hospitals: 4 notes

Nashville, Tenn.-based TriStar Centennial Medical Center selected Amber Price, DNP, to serve as COO for TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial, both in Nashville.

Four notes:

1. Dr. Price was previously associate administrator and vice president of women and children at The Women’s Hospital at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Va.

2. She has also worked as a director and associate professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

3. Dr. Price served as an investigator on the National Institutes of Health’s Human Microbiome Project.

4. She earned her doctor of executive nursing practice degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
