Four things to know:
1. Ms. Mattson most recently served as president of Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Fla., for three years, where she initiated programs to better patient and family experience and improve employee engagement.
2. She has also served as COO of Pathways Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty in Sunnyvale, Calif., and president of North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minn.
3. Ms. Mattson started her career as a registered nurse for Minneapolis-based Allina Health, before assuming administrative roles.
4. Ms. Mattson replaced Sandra Lobert, who retired after serving a decade in the role.
