Trident Health appoints 1st-ever administrative VP of women’s & children’s services: 3 points

Charleston, S.C.-based Trident Health selected Felisha Mason, DNP, RN, to serve as administrative vice president of women’s and children’s services, according to The Summerville Journal Scene.

Here are three points:

1. In the newly created role, Dr. Mason will oversee the women’s and children’s hospital being built on the Summerville (S.C.) Medical Center campus, which is set to open in 2019.

2. Most recently, she was he executive director of maternal and children’s services at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark.

3. She has also served in leadership positions at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center.
