Here are five things to know about Mr. McGill.
1. He starts his new job Nov. 2.
2. He most recently was CEO of River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tenn.
3. This is not Mr. McGill’s first time leading LRH. He also was CEO of LRH from 1993 to 2008. As CEO, Mr. McGill led the hospital through six expansion projects, developed numerous service lines, recruited more than 12 physicians and led the hospital’s emergency department to achieve Chest Pain Accreditation, according to a news release.
4. Previously, Mr. McGill also was market CEO of Parkway Medical Center and Hartselle Medical Center in Decatur, Ala.; regional director of Chattanooga’s Tennessee First Health Plan; group director of Cleveland (Tenn.) Community Hospital; executive director of Harris Hospital in Newport, Ark.; CEO of Charter Community Hospital in Cleveland; and CEO of Enterprise Hospital and Nursing Home in Enterprise, Ala.
5. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
