Thomas Dee. President and CEO of Southwestern Vermont Health Care (Bennington). Southwestern Vermont Health Care named Mr. Dee CEO in 2009, and since then he has expanded the health system’s partnership with Lebanon, N.H-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock and increased access to primary care services in the community. Mr. Dee has also maintained the hospital’s strong financial operation over the past nine years and worked to improve employee engagement and patient experience. During his tenure as CEO, SVHC earned recognition from The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures and as one of Vermont Magazine‘s Best Places to Work. Prior to joining SVHC, Mr. Dee worked for the three-hospital HealthAlliance in Kingston, N.Y., and was CEO of the 222-bed Benedictine Hospital in Kingston.
