The Queen’s Health Systems CEO to retire in 2020: 3 things to know

Art Ushijima, president and CEO of The Queen’s Health Systems in Honolulu, Hawaii, will retire in January 2020.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Ushijima has led the organization for nearly 30 years.

2. During his tenure, Mr. Ushijima oversaw the addition of services, programs and facilities to the health system. Today, it includes 70 locations.

3. The Queen’s Health Systems’ board of trustees has created a search committee and hired consulting firm Korn Ferry to begin the search for a new CEO.
