The Mount Sinai Hospital President Wayne Keathley Resigns

Wayne Keathley has resigned as president and COO of The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, and David Reich, MD, has been named interim president.

Dr. Reich has been at Mount Sinai since 1984 and was named a Horace W. Goldsmith Professor and chair of anesthesiology in 2004. He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and 30 book chapters. He has been on the Appointments and Promotions Committee at Mount Sinai for 10 years.

Mr. Keathley stepped down to become president of Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center and Health Network in Houston.
