The Miami Medical Center names new CEO: 3 things to know

Jeff Mason has been named CEO of The Miami Medical Center, a physician-owned joint venture between Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami and Leawood, Kan.-based Nueterra.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Mason.

1. He has closed down Analytics, his healthcare consulting firm, which he started in 2012. He will begin his new role June 6.

2. For the past 15 months, he has served as CEO of Valley Integrated Physicians in Appleton, Wis.

3. He was previously CEO of BayCare Clinic in Green Bay, Wis.
