Texas system creates 3 new CEO roles

Bellaire, Texas-based Harris Health System has promoted three leaders to newly created CEO positions.

Glorimar Medina, MD, was named CEO of hospital campuses, overseeing Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital and Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, both in Houston, according to a Feb. 27 health system news release. She previously served as executive vice president and administrator of Ben Taub Hospital.

Jennifer Small, who has been with Harris Health for more than 20 years, was promoted to CEO of ambulatory care services. She most recently served as executive vice president and administrator of ambulatory care services.

Kiki Teal, previously vice president of correctional health, was named CEO of correctional health. Her new role expands her responsibilities to include leading the strategic direction of correctional health services.

Harris Health operates two hospitals, as well as primary- and urgent-care locations.
