DHR Health Brownsville (Texas) appointed James Castillo II, MD, chief medical officer, Valley Central reported May 28.
Dr. Castillo is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and will lead the practice of medicine at the hospital. He will also lead an interdisciplinary team in delivery of care, according to the report.
