Huntsville (Texas) Memorial Hospital has appointed Terry Scoggin as its new CEO.
Mr. Scoggin has served as the hospital’s interim CEO since January, according to a June 15 hospital news release. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in rural and independent health systems.
Before joining Huntsville Memorial Hospital, he served as CEO of Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas, for seven years. He also recently served as interim CEO of the Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals, where he led statewide advocacy for 156 rural hospitals.
Mr. Scoggin has worked with the hospital’s board, leadership team, clinicians and community stakeholders to strengthen operations, align service line strategy with community needs and expand clinical services during his tenure as interim CEO, the release said.
Huntsville Memorial Hospital is part of Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp.
