Texas Health Resources names system pharmacy officer

Steven Schultz, PharmD, is joining Arlington, Texas-based Texas Health Resources as system pharmacy officer, he said in an Aug. 20 LinkedIn post

He previously served as vice president of pharmacy operations for Fort Worth, Texas-based JPS Health Network.

At JPS, which operates a 582-bed hospital and more than 25 clinics, Dr. Schultz oversaw operations for the network’s outpatient, inpatient, specialty, cancer center, surgical center and correctional pharmacies. 

In his new role, he will work to advance pharmacy practice and build pharmacy services across Texas Health, which includes 29 hospitals.
