Fort Walton Beach-based HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital named Evgenia Slavcheva, MD, chief medical officer.
Dr. Slavcheva, an internal medicine and pediatrics physician executive, will help advance clinical excellence, strengthen the physician experience and support high-quality patient care, Get The Coast reported.
Previously, Dr. Slavcheva served as associate CMO of St. David’s Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas, and CMO of St. David’s Georgetown (Texas) Hospital. Austin, Texas-based St. David’s HealthCare is an HCA affiliate.
