Tennessee hospital CEO to step down

John Tucker will step down from his role as CEO of Paris-based West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital for a new position in Colorado.

He will remain with West Tennessee Healthcare through mid-December, according to a Nov. 4 system news release shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Tucker will become president of Salida, Colo.-based Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, the release said.

He served as the hospital’s first CEO under West Tennessee’s management, a transition that was approved by the system’s board in July.

Mr. Tucker’s leadership was instrumental during a period of significant accomplishments and growth, the release said. He guided key initiatives, such as restructuring service offerings and establishing the lease agreement with West Tennessee Healthcare.
