Tenet hospital CEO heads to UHS

Rob Anderson was appointed CEO of Lakewood Ranch (Fla.) Medical Center.

Mr. Anderson began his new role on April 21, according to a hospital news release. 

Philip Reber, who served as interim CEO, will remain COO.

Prior to joining LWRMC, Mr. Anderson held roles with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, according to the release.

He most recently served as CEO of Memorial Campus, a 480-bed acute care hospital in El Paso, Texas; and Providence Children’s Hospital, a 144-bed pediatric facility in El Paso.

LWRMC is part of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
