Philadelphia-based Temple Health has appointed two executives to C-suite positions, according to a Sept. 18 health system news release.
Abhi Rastogi was appointed COO, though he will continue to serve as executive vice president of Temple Health and president and CEO of Temple University Hospital. John Ryan was appointed chief administrative officer, and will continue to serve as executive vice president and general counsel.
During his tenure, Mr. Rastogi played a key role in expansion at Temple Health, including opening Temple Women & Families Hospital, acquiring Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital, and growing transplant programs, the release said.
Mr. Ryan will continue to oversee the health system’s legal, human resources and government affairs teams, and will now also oversee the marketing and communications team.
