Taylorville Memorial Hospital names Memorial Health System director CEO

Kimberly L. Bourne, system director of patient safety for Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health System, has been named president and CEO of Taylorville (Ill.) Memorial Hospital, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

Ms. Bourne has worked at Memorial Health System for 25 years. She began her career at the health system in 1989 as associate director of clinical nutrition and was named senior associate director in 1993. In 1994, Ms. Bourne was selected as the director of the hospital’s food and nutrition services department, and she continued in this role for 19 years until she accepted her current role as system director for patient safety.

Ms. Bourne is a registered dietitian with a master’s degree in dietetics from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.

She will succeed Daniel J. Raab, who has served as president and CEO of Taylorville Memorial for 19 years and will retire Dec. 31.
