Syringa Hospital and Clinics taps new CEO: 6 notes

Grangeville, Idaho-based Syringa Hospital and Clinics named Abner King CEO, effective Jan. 9, according to an Idaho County Free Press report.

Here are six notes:

1. Most recently, Mr. King served as COO of Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon, Idaho.

2. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

3. His appointment initiates a new management agreement, wherein Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based Kootenai Health will assist Syringa with operations management.

4. Mr. King will be a Kootenai Health employee who is being leased to Syringa per the agreement.

5. He holds an MBA from Orlando-based University of Central Florida.

6. He permanently succeeds Joe Cladouhos, who retired last year.
