Sutter taps hospital CEO from Tenet

Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City, Calif., has named Michael Lane its new CEO.

The move took effect Feb. 5, according to a news release published to Wild Rivers Outpost and reposted to Sutter Health’s LinkedIn page Feb. 13. 

Mr. Lane most recently served as group chief operating officer for six Northern California hospitals belonging to Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, according to the release. Simultaneously, he served as COO of Tenet’s Twin Cities Hospital in Templeton, Calif., a 122-bed acute care facility. 

He succeeds Mitch Hanna, who is retiring from the hospital’s helm after more than 30 years with Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health.
