Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health has named Tara Overmiller CEO of Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport, Calif., effective Nov. 16.
Ms. Overmiller will oversee hospital operations and growth and will work with Sutter Lakeside Chief Medical Executive Christina Lasich, MD, according to the system’s Oct. 5 news release.
Ms. Overmiller is CEO of Phillips County Health Systems in northwest Kansas, where she has led efforts to modernize facilities, strengthen provider recruitment and improve operational performance, the release said. She previously served as the system’s COO, chief strategy officer and marketing director, and as director of growth and marketing for Midwest Family Health.
“Tara brings strong rural health care experience and a track record of leading through growth,” Sutter Health COO Christina Oh said in the release.
Sutter Lakeside is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Lake County. Sutter provides care to more than 3.5 million Californians, according to its website.
