Michelle Oxford has been appointed CEO of Sutter Santa Rosa (Calif.) Regional Hospital, effective Dec. 1.
Ms. Oxford brings more than 20 years of hospital leadership and operational experience to the role, according to a Nov. 19 health system news release. She will serve as a dyad partner to Chief Medical Executive Karin Shavelson, MD.
She most recently served as chief administrative officer for Renton, Wash.-based Providence’s Northern California region, where she oversaw operations at two hospitals and aligned strategy across a six-hospital network. She previously served as president and CEO of Bakersfield (Calif.) Heart Hospital for seven years.
Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital is a 124-bed acute care facility and is part of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health.
