The announcement came in conjunction with the for-profit hospital operator’s decision last week to buy back odd lots of shares in an attempt to go private.
Mr. Turner, who made $394,917 in 2012, had served as SunLink’s COO and chief development officer as an independent contractor through Centric Management Services since December 2010. SunLink did not say why it ended Mr. Turner’s contract.
