Ms. Valentine is departing for the CEO role at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
She assumed the CEO position at Summerville Medical Center in 2014, prior to which she was COO and interim CEO at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Va. During her tenure, the hospital began construction of a 40,000-square-foot medical office building and a two-story, 50,000-square-foot expansion for women’s and children’s services. The hospital is expanding its emergency department as well.
Ms. Valentine has completed the master of science in health administration executive program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
