Steven J. Corwin, MD. President and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York City). Dr. Corwin joined the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital team in 1979 and filled a variety of leadership roles, including CMO, COO and executive vice president before being named president and CEO in 2011. He is a member of the American Hospital Association’s Governing Council of Health Care Systems, the Association of American Medical College’s Council of Teaching Hospitals administrative board and the Health Management Academy and is a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. Dr. Corwin, a board-certified cardiologist and internist, has served as president of the board of directors of the Greater New York Hospital Association since June. He has received numerous awards, including the Northwestern Alumni Award from Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University and the Health Care Industry Good Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
